Assistant Branch Manager

RESPONSIBILTIES
  1. Manage and mentor the sales team on service standards, product knowledge, and customer interaction.
  2. Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly.
  3. Develop and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  4. Drive sales by ensuring that deals are closed by internal Sales Representatives.
  5. Setting and monitoring sales budgets (monthly and annually) and achieving sales targets.
  6. Ensure displays and pricing on the sales floor are updated and correct.
  7. General upkeep, maintenance, and attractiveness of the sales floor.
  8. General sales administration.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  10. Preparing training programs and training reps on weak areas
  11. Monitor and control days off and leave.
  12. Using the disciplinary procedures, if appropriate, to correct unacceptable behaviour. Monitor reps attendance and conduct and initiate appropriate counselling or disciplinary action where necessary.
  13. Liaise with the Head Office Marketing Department and Branch Manager in creating the monthly advertising schedule, input on current adverts and advise on current in store trends.
  14. Responsible for opening and closing of store as per internal roster.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Grade 12
  2. Diploma in Management
  3. Minimum 5 years sales management experience (experience in hardware, flooring, tiles and related will be an added advantage).
  4. Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  7. Must have strong attention to detail, administrative and organizational skills.
  8. Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems for Retail.
WORK HOURS
  1. Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
  2. Alternate weekends, Saturday 8.00 am to 3.00 pm, Sunday 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
  3. Alternate Public Holidays, 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
RUMUNERATION

R30,000 (TCC)
