Field Service Technician Office Automation - CT

Position Purpose

To install, maintain and service a range of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. The successful candidate will represent the company professionally, maintaining strong customer relationships and upholding company standards. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can work effectively within a team environment to ensure rapid problem resolution and excellent customer service.

• Service and maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults effectively and efficiently.
• Install equipment and provide operator training.
• Provide on-site support throughout the Northern provinces of South Africa and neighbouring countries as required.
• Assist colleagues and other departments with technical and development-related issues.
• Support the sales team with equipment demonstrations when required.
• Resolve customer queries and technical problems promptly.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth.
• Assist customers in maximizing the value and performance of their equipment.
• Provide ongoing telephonic, email, and remote support to customers.
• Travel locally and internationally as required.
• Provide after-hours standby support and on-site assistance when necessary.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company integrity.
• Complete administrative tasks in line with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties reasonably related to the role.

• Minimum 2 years'' experience in basic Electrical and/or Mechanical environments.

• Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Hands-on approach to equipment maintenance and repair.
• Dedicated, dependable and self-motivated.

• Own reliable transport.
• Valid Code 08 driver''s licence.
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Computer literate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
