Financial Management & Reporting
Prepare and review Annual Financial Statements (AFS) in accordance with relevant reporting frameworks
Consolidate, analyse, and interpret financial data to support informed decision-making
Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, including variance analysis and key insights
Present financial results, projections, and performance updates to Executives and Senior Management.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Drive the annual budgeting process, working closely with cross-functional teams
Prepare rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy, financial discipline, and alignment with business goals
Provide strategic financial input to support business planning and performance optimisation
Leadership & Team Management
Manage and mentor a team of at least two or more finance professionals
Oversee day-to-day team operations, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to deadlines
Develop staff through coaching, feedback, and ongoing professional development
Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure financial controls, policies, and procedures are adhered to and continuously improved
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, automate reporting processes, and strengthen data accuracy
Proven experience in AFS preparation
Strong background in budgeting and forecasting
Demonstrated experience leading a team (minimum 2 direct reports)
Experience presenting to Executives and Senior Management
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholderâengagement skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
