Financial Manager - Johannesburg

Our client a well-established name in the manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced and proactive Financial Manager to join their operations based in Johannesburg West.

As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full financial function, working closely with operations and production teams to ensure accurate cost accounting, inventory control, and financial compliance. Your ability to translate numbers into strategic business insights will be key in supporting operational decisions and driving profitability.

Duties:

• Managing the full finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
• Ensuring robust cost accounting and inventory management aligned with manufacturing processes
• Monitoring and analysing product costings, bill of materials, and stock variances
• Ensuring that financial controls, policies, and procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to
• Supporting audits, tax submissions, and compliance reporting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Qualifications:
• Completed BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• SAIPA or SAICA articles
• Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of financial experience within the manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of costing, stock control, and operational finance
