Network Technician

Our client, an ISP and VoIP service provider, is seeking a Network Technician to join their team in the Hendrina area!
- Location: Pullenshope (Hendrina area), Mpumalanga
- Salary: R13,000
- Working Hours: 7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday (every second week standby)
Essential Requirements:
- Matric certificate
- Code 8 - 10 driver's license
- Own transport to and from work
- 1-2 Years Experience in internet service provider field
- On-site installation experience
- WiFi experience essential
- Knowledge of MicroTik/Ubiquity/VoIP/Cameras
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Configuration:
- Set up, install, and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)
- Configure network software to ensure proper connectivity
- Perform on-site installations for clients
Network Support & Maintenance:
- Monitor network performance to ensure uptime
- Implement security measures including firewalls
- Provide technical support to clients
- Troubleshoot wireless internet systems
- Resolve connectivity issues
Client Support:
- Provide support to clients
- Handle technical queries
- Ensure client satisfaction
