The Role: Sales Executive SaaS (Energy & Fuel Technology)
The purpose of this role is to drive revenue growth and product adoption for core fuel network monitoring and testing solutions. The Sales Executive contributes to the business by navigating the full B2B sales cycle and leveraging group synergies to provide tailored technology solutions to prospects in fuel retail and logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize 37+ years of experience in B2B sales within SaaS, technology, or the energy sector.
- Drive new business by identifying and engaging prospects in fuel retail, logistics, and related industries.
- Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Demonstrate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-sell and upsell products from group companies, including payment automation and commercial fuel management.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline using CRM tools to achieve revenue targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to tailor solutions to specific client needs.
- 37+ years of B2B sales experience specifically within SaaS, technology, or the energy sector.
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets in industrial or retail markets.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently or remotely.
- Willingness to travel within South Africa and across the continent.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
