Civil Engineer

Job Description:

• Design and develop civil engineering solutions for infrastructure projects
• Prepare detailed designs and drawings for bulk earthworks, sewer reticulation, stormwater drainage
• Produce engineering drawings and models using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Revit
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction documentation
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Provide technical support during construction and project implementation phases
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 46 years of civil engineering design experience
• Strong experience in the design of bulk earthworks, sewerage systems, stormwater drainage, and municipal infrastructure.
• Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Revit
• Knowledge of relevant South African design codes, standards, and regulations
• Experience preparing technical reports, drawings, and specifications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree or BEng/BSc/ BTech in Civil Engineering
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites when required
