Senior Project Manager

Project Delivery and Governance:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets
• Establish and manage project governance, including scope, planning, risks, issues, and change control
• Ensure compliance with project management frameworks, methodologies, and reporting standards

Stakeholder and Communication Management:

• Engage proactively with sponsors, owners, and stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and key decisions through clear, concise reporting and presentations.
• Facilitate collaboration and transparency across cross-functional teams and external partners

Planning and Execution:

• Develop detailed project plans, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with delivery teams
• Coordinate dependencies, track progress, and ensure timely completion of critical activities
• Identify and escalate key decisions or risks impacting project success

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Provide guidance, motivation, and direction to project teams and vendors
• Foster a collaborative and accountable working environment
• Mentor and support junior project managers or coordinators, where applicable

Quality, Risk and Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor project quality, ensuring outputs meet agreed standards and business objectives
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and process optimization

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Project
• Management, Business, or a related discipline
• Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum Master) preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role managing large, complex initiatives
• Proven track record of delivering multi-stakeholder projects successfully
• Experience managing both business and technical projects
• Experience using Smart Sheets will be preferred
