Data Scientist - Scorecard

You will be at the forefront of the institutions credit risk strategy, developing, validating, and refining scorecards that directly impact lending decisions and portfolio profitability. Your work will shape the future of credit risk management across the organization.

What Youll Do:

• Lead a team of Analysts and Modelers, mentoring and guiding on credit risk projects.
• Build, validate, and maintain credit risk scorecards for retail and corporate portfolios.
• Apply advanced analytics techniques, including logistic regression, decision trees, and machine learning.
• Conduct data analysis to identify key risk factors and predictive variables.
• Ensure scorecard performance, back-testing, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with risk, analytics, and business teams to operationalize models.

What You Bring:

• Bachelors or Masters in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong experience in credit risk modelling and scorecard development.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a high-performing team.
• Expertise in SAS, R, Python, SQL, or similar tools.
• Deep understanding of credit risk frameworks, Basel II/III, and risk rating methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
