About the role:
The Sales Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth execution of sales processes. Working within a dynamic BPO and call center environment, the role involves coordinating between cross-functional teams, managing administrative workflows, and driving performance reporting to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update CRM systems with lead and client data.
- Generate and circulate daily/weekly/monthly sales performance reports.
- Track KPIs across sales agents and compile variance analyses.
- Assist in onboarding sales agents and managing compliance documentation.
- Coordinate communication between sales teams, client services, and operations.
- Process customer orders, quotes, and account modifications.
- Schedule internal meetings and keep minutes for follow-ups.
- Support in preparing pitch documents, RFPs, and presentations.
- Manage internal reporting dashboards and assist leadership with data insights.
Performance Indicators:
- Accuracy and timeliness of reporting
- SLA adherence in admin-related tasks
- Agent onboarding cycle time
- CRM data integrity
- Reduction in follow-up escalations
Qualifications & Skills:
- South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
- Grade 12 ; Diploma in Business Administration / Sales / Communications
- 2+ years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in BPO or call center settings.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook; CRM experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional time management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a knack for interpreting performance metrics.
- Proactive and solution-driven.
- Able to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Strong team collaborator with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable handling sensitive data and managing confidentiality.
