MARKETING MANAGER - DURBAN
The role is based in Durban, with responsibility for supporting marketing, client engagement, and business development activities for the Cape Town office as required.
This is an externally focused role that plays an important part in strengthening relationships across the companys client base and broader professional network, including corporate clients, industry stakeholders, and service partners.
In addition to relationship management, the role supports the companys growth objectives through involvement in business development activities, marketing initiatives, and the coordination of client and industry events.
The position requires a proactive, confident, and professional individual who is comfortable engaging with external stakeholders and representing the firm in a variety of professional settings. The role also includes operational support for client engagement activities and related administrative functions, ensuring smooth coordination and professional delivery of external facing companys initiatives.
Requirements: National Senior Certificate (Matric) is essential Degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred) Previous experience in client relations, marketing, social media management, business development, or events coordination Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong written communication and content creation ability Professional presentation and strong client-facing confidence Ability to network and build professional relationships Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle Willingness to travel and attend functions, including occasional out-of-province events Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and external stakeholders Act as a liaison between external stakeholders and internal teams Provide regular updates and communication support in collaboration with internal departments Ensure a consistently high standard of professional client service
Business Development Support Support the promotion of the companys services within the market Assist in developing and maintaining referral networks and business opportunities Attend networking events and industry functions on behalf of the firm Support initiatives aimed at growing and strengthening the companys client base Represent the company professionally at external engagements and networking opportunities
Marketing & Brand Support Assist with the implementation of marketing and business development initiatives Support the promotion and visibility of the companys services and brand Assist with client communications, promotional material, and brand-related activities Contribute ideas for campaigns, client engagement initiatives, and market visibility Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
Social Media & Digital Engagement Assist in managing and maintaining the companys social media platforms and online presence Create and coordinate professional content aligned to the companys brand and marketing objectives Support the promotion of client events, company achievements, and marketing campaigns across digital platforms Maintain consistent branding and communication across social media channels Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to improve online visibility and audience interaction
Client Events & Industry Engagement Coordinate and support client events, networking functions, and industry engagements Manage event-related communication, invitations, confirmations, and coordination Attend and represent the company at client and industry events Contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening client relationships and enhancing market presence Assist with the coordination and execution of both local and national company functions, including occasional out-of-province events
Internal Coordination Support Liaise between external stakeholders and internal teams to ensure smooth communication flow Assist in monitoring and coordinating client-related processes in collaboration with internal departments Support internal efforts to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery Provide general administrative and coordination support to ensure effective execution of marketing and client engagement initiatives
