Junior Creditors Clerk (3-Month Contract)
Location: Parow EastEmployment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (3 Months)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Creditors Clerk to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounts payable functions and ensure accurate and timely processing of financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capturing and processing supplier invoices accurately
- Performing creditors reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Managing invoice filing and record keeping
- Assisting with VAT-related processing and compliance
- Preparing payment schedules
- Liaising with suppliers regarding account queries
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks
Minimum Requirements:
- 1–2 years’ experience in a creditors/accounts payable role
- Experience working on Xero
- Basic understanding of VAT processes
- Strong reconciliation skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Advantageous:
- Relevant finance or accounting qualification (or studying towards one)
- Experience in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment
