About Our Client

The main responsibility of the Stock Controller is to manage and control all processes involving stock within the Production Department, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This fast-paced role exists to maintain precise inventory control as the company prepares for scale, with a strong focus on units of measure, multitasking, and attention to detail.

• Manage all inbound & outbound transfers of stock.
• Perform daily housekeeping of the stock room with adherence to health & safety standards.
• Receive & decant raw materials.
• Execute accurate picking, weighing & dispatching of required items.
• Conduct scheduled wall-to-wall stock takes & cycle counts.
• Control damages & short-dated stock while upholding FEFO.
• Complete daily, weekly & monthly reports, including transfers, wastage, and manufacturing.

• At least 2 years of proven success in a stock control role.
• Post-matric qualification required (degree, diploma, or certificate).
• Strong mathematical competency in units of measure (e.g. converting g to kg).
• Computer literacy and proficiency in capturing stock data on inventory systems such as SAP, GAAP or similar.
• Strong working knowledge of inventory management.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Apple iOS will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of the food manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
