My client in the manufacturing sector is looking for a driven and commercially minded Financial Manager to join their high-performing team based in Midrand. Reporting directly to the Financial Director, this role will take ownership of full financial management, compliance, and cost optimisation within a production-focused environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing strategic financial insight, supporting decision-making across the business, and working closely with supply chain and sales teams to enhance margins and improve overall performance.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in an operational environment and enjoys making a measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Full balance sheet management and reporting
- Overseeing reconciliations and processing journals
- Costing, margin analysis, and manufacturing variance reporting
- Improving financial processes and strengthening internal controls
- Managing, mentoring, and developing the finance team
- BCom Accounting
- SAICA/SAIPA Articles completed
- 57 years post-articles experience
- Minimum 3 years managerial experience
- FMCG/Manufacturing industry experience essential
