Assistant Workshop Manager (Transport & Logistics)

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily workshop operations and workflow.
- Allocate and supervise workshop staff and maintenance activities.
- Perform and oversee servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Manage breakdowns and prioritise urgent repairs.
- Monitor vehicle inspections, maintenance records and downtime.
- Ensure workshop safety, housekeeping and compliance.
- Support maximum fleet availability and efficient turnaround times.
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
- Heavy vehicle maintenance experience.
- Trailer maintenance experience.
- Previous supervisory or workshop management experience is advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
