Our marketing team plays a key role in driving brand visibility, client engagement, and business growthboth internally and externally. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our dynamic marketing and growth objectives.
🎯 Role Purpose
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the execution, monitoring, and reporting of NETCONFIG's full-spectrum marketing initiatives. This role supports digital marketing, content creation, corporate branding, internal communications, events, and Corporation Social Responsibility campaigns to enhance stakeholder engagement and build our brand presence across the three major cities, Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town.

- Stay ahead of trends and make sure our content stays fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Create engaging content to use across our targeted social media platforms and print.
- Introduce fresh initiatives and craft compelling narratives showcasing our work, solutions, culture, and client case studies.
- Working with the key stakeholders to create campaigns around solutions and services.
- Creation of campaigns with the various vendors based on our targeted clients and prospects.
- Monthly campaign reporting to the management team on the engagement and conversion rates.
- Digital Content creation
- Creation of monthly videos for various product, services and campaigns.
- Create blog posts with eye-catching visuals and videos for greater social media impact.
- Create quarterly digital "magazines" that are fun and engaging for
- Email marketing
- Create fun, informative and educational monthly email newsletters for clients.
- Update Email branding/signatures linked to campaigns and events.
- Maintain WordPress site with content, and SEO page optimization.
- Competitor Research
- Research and review competitors digital strategies and websites to continuously improve and be ahead of the pack.
- SEO
- Remain relevant and execute current Google SEO strategies to improve conversions.
- Present monthly reporting and improvement strategies to the management team.
- Google Ads & Analytics
- Create and manage paid Google Ads based on structured campaigns.
- Present campaign performance reporting and improvement strategies to the management team.
- Social media
- Grow LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) platforms with a goal of 20% higher post engagement per month.
- Present monthly reporting and improvement strategies to the management team.
- Web content:
- Coordinate internal/external events as blood donations and charity drives.
- Run staff-engagement campaigns with a "NETCONFIG for Good" focus
- Organise client workshops and social sports events to build relationships.
- Manage events that focus on education, networking, and new business development.
- "New Client" activations and onsite pop-ups.
- Create and update the Corporate Identity (CI) across the NETCONFIG companies.
- Apply CI on all communication, client engagement, branding, marketing campaigns and gifts.
- Oversee sourcing and design of corporate gifts and branding.
- Generate marketing collateral (brochures, PDFs, presentations).
- Coordinate print, radio, and signage advertising through various vendors.
- Engage with sponsors and measure return on investment for sponsored events.
- Manage internal communication mediums, monthly newsletters, staff wellness etc.
- Update staff profiles and maintain internal branding consistency.
- Plan monthly socials, birthday celebrations, special event celebrations etc.
- Lead internal fundraising efforts that promote team culture and values.
- Collaborate with various vendors for fund generation and access to co-marketing budgets
- Increase in digital engagement and follower growth (LinkedIn/Meta).
- Timely execution of monthly/quarterly campaigns and deliverables.
- Quality and consistency of marketing content across various platforms.
- Improvement in inbound lead generation based on the content and various digital campaigns.
- ROI from sponsored partnerships and events.
- Positive internal feedback on wellness and staff engagement initiatives.
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing coordinator or similar role.
- Understanding of current trends in the digital content and social media space.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Email Marketing Tools (Mailchimp etc.)
- Understanding of Meta Business Suite
- Google SEO, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
- Graphic design and/or video content creation skills.
- Using marketing automation tools and AI tools.
- Experience in IT, Telecoms, or Business to Business marketing
