Business Development Consultant

Requirements:

• A qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is essential.
• Previous experience within the textiles, yarn, and/or natural fibres industry will be advantageous.
• Proven track record of sales success and business development experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse cultures and international markets.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities through proactive cold canvassing in both local and international markets.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage daily sales activities in alignment with overall sales targets and business strategy.
• Strong focus on customer relationship management, including growing and retaining existing accounts while increasing customer spend.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to take initiative.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute positively as a team player.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, particularly in costing deals and managing exchange rate fluctuations.
• Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to accurately distinguish colour variations and shades (a critical requirement for the role).
