Junior Accountant CA(SA)
Our client is a well-established multinational agri commodity trading business based in the heart of the Winelands. They're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their finance team and grow with the business.

What you'll be doing
You'll support the broader finance function across a range of responsibilities, including:
- Cash and balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany accounting and clearing open items
- Month-end close activities — accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
- Maintaining the fixed assets register
- Supporting statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements
- Maintaining master data across finance and operational systems
- Contributing to process improvements and compliance frameworks
- A completed CA(SA) qualification
- 1–2 years' post-articles experience in an accounting role
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Familiarity with an ERP system (PeopleSoft or similar is a plus)
- Solid numerical and analytical ability with high attention to detail
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines without dropping the ball
- Experience in a multi-currency environment
- Exposure to Power BI or process automation tools
