Maintenance Officer (Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Equipment- Execute preventative maintenance as per schedule
- Manage breakdowns and equipment repairs
- Improve equipment reliability and performance
- Minimise downtime through coordination with production
- Track breakdowns and optimise maintenance plans
- Manage critical spares and maintenance budgets
- Assist with installation of new assembly lines
- Support fabrication of jigs and fixtures
- Perform general building maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
- Oversee and manage external service providers
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and 5S principles
- Participate in H&S committee
- Ensure audit actions are completed
- Promote and enforce safety compliance
- Matric (with Mathematics)
- NTC 3 + relevant Trade Qualification
- 5+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Millwright / Fitter qualification (or equivalent)
- Advantage: Heights permit, rigging, hydraulics, pneumatics
