Junior Attorney

This role requires a proactive individual who can handle pressure, manage multiple matters independently, and deliver work aligned with our service level agreements and legal milestones.

Key Requirements:

• Admitted Attorney with 2–3 years’ post-admission legal practice experience.
• Computer literate with strong working knowledge of legal software and Microsoft Office.
• Proven experience in Municipal Debt Legal Recoveries.
• In-depth understanding of the National Credit Act.
• Solid experience in General Civil and Commercial Litigation, including Magistrates Court and High Court procedures.
• Strong understanding of Municipal Litigation processes, including:
• Section 129 Notices
• Drafting and Issuing Summons
• Applying for Default Judgments
• Execution processes (Warrant of Execution, Attachments, etc.)
• Awareness and appreciation of key milestones and SLA compliance.
• Must be hardworking, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
