Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

A professional, friendly, and organized Receptionist / Administrative Assistant is required to support the day-to-day operations of a busy office environment. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of office activities.
Key Responsibilities- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally
- Welcome and assist visitors, customers, and suppliers
- Maintain a professional and well-organized reception area
- Maintain filing systems and company records
- Perform general administrative and data-capturing duties
- Assist with the preparation of correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets
- Schedule meetings and manage diaries where required
- Order and monitor office stationery and supplies
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional telephone etiquette and strong customer service skills
- Well-presented and professional manner
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure
- Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Experience operating a switchboard
- Basic administrative and data-capturing experience
- Familiarity with office management systems and procedures
