Senior Accountant

Owning complex accounting transactions and ensuring accurate financial records
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting monthly and annual financial statements
Leading month-end and year-end close processes in line with reporting deadlines
Ensuring compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, VAT, and franchise-related obligations
Supporting internal and external audits through detailed schedules and documentation
Identifying and implementing improvements to internal controls and accounting processes
Providing guidance and review support to junior accountants
Working closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams on GL allocations and corrections
Supporting finance systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central advantageous)

Skills & Experience: Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
Experience in a retail, franchise, or multi-entity environment (highly advantageous)Strong Excel skills and exposure to modern accounting systems
A detail-oriented, deadline-driven mindset with strong communication skills
Ability to mentor, review, and collaborate across finance and operational teams
Qualification: Bachelors degree in accounting, or similar
