Oracle ERP (EBS & HCM) Technical Administrator Support Specialist
Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- At least eight (8) years experience as an Oracle E-Business technical resource in a project and/or support environment.
- Proven experience with:
- Oracle EBS Open Interfaces
- Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- REST APIs
- Data conversions and integrations
- Strong capability to design, architect, and develop technical solutions.
- Working knowledge of quality assurance, testing, and release management practices.
- A good understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated client orientation, problem-solving ability, decision-making skills, time management, and teamwork.

Technical Scope of Services
The appointed resource will provide technical services to support the operation, stability, and optimisation of the in-scope platforms. This will include:
- Providing technical administration, operational support, and maintenance services across all in-scope Oracle platforms.
- Managing system environments, including monitoring, performance optimisation, and environment stability.
- Executing and supporting system upgrades, patches, and release cycles for Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Supporting key business milestones and critical processing periods, including:
- Oracle EBS application upgrades, system administration, and patch cycles
- Quarterly Oracle Fusion HCM patch release cycles
- Performance evaluation and performance contracting cycles
- Payroll tax year-end processing
- Financial year-end processing
- Compensation cycles for annual increases and bonuses
- Resolving technical incidents and service requests in line with agreed operational timelines and service levels.
- Supporting and maintaining integrations, interfaces, workflows, and reporting components to ensure continuity of end-to-end business processes.
- Providing technical support during high-risk and time-critical processing periods to ensure system availability, integrity, and reliability.
Expected Deliverables
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver the following:
- Provision of technical administration and operational support services across Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion HCM, and associated platforms.
- Management and monitoring of system environments, including performance optimisation and stability.
- Execution of system upgrades, patching, and quarterly release activities.
- Resolution of technical incidents and service requests, including root cause analysis.
- Support for integrations, interfaces, and middleware to ensure continuity of business processes.
- Provision of technical support during critical business processing periods.
- Administration of security, access controls, and authentication mechanisms.
- Development and maintenance of technical documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures.
- Knowledge sharing and skills transfer to internal teams to ensure capability building and continuity of support.
- Adherence to organisational governance, security, and change management processes.
