Dealership Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Dealership Accountant to join a well-established motor dealership based in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial operations within the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial controls.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and reports.
• Perform reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, and stock).
• Manage cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
• Liaise with auditors, management, and external stakeholders.
• Supervise and guide finance staff where applicable.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant within a motor dealership environment.
• Relevant Accounting qualification (Diploma / Degree).
• Proficient in Automate / Kerridge / Evolve / or similar dealership accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting ability.
