About the Opportunity
Medical Resources Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Medical Specialist Practice in Alberton, for a professional and experienced Medical Receptionist.
This role is suited to a candidate who thrives in a structured and fast-paced specialist practice environment and who can confidently manage front-office responsibilities while delivering a high standard of patient service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area and supporting both patients and healthcare professionals with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient bookings and appointment scheduling
- Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and manage incoming calls and patient enquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems
- Perform general reception and administrative duties
- Liaise with patients, medical professionals, and practice staff
- Ensure the reception area operates efficiently and professionally at all times
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Medical Receptionist
- Experience in a Medical Specialist Practice environment (advantageous)
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities
- Professional telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work efficiently in a structured and busy medical environment
