Engineer in Training (EIT) â Mechatronics Engineering

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing and automation systems.
- Support production and maintenance teams with technical troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Participate in continuous improvement and process optimisation projects.
- Assist with PLC, robotics, sensors, and automated control systems.
- Analyse equipment performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Support preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives.
- Participate in engineering investigations, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering data analysis.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and quality departments.
- BSc or BEng Degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
- Academic average of 65% and above.
- Recent graduate or up to 2 years relevant experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of automation, robotics, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
- Exposure to PLC programming, instrumentation, and control systems will be advantageous.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
