Master Vehicle Technician

We are looking for a Master Vehicle Technician with a vehicle dealership in Johannesburg.

Duties and Responsibilities: Conducting work preparation and fault diagnosis, Perform repairs and maintenance of vehicles, Conduct final inspections and functional tests, Prepare relevant reports for vehicle hand-over and Ensure quality standards are met in order to achieve the Standards of Excellence.

Requirements:

• Conducting work preparation and fault diagnosis.
• Perform repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
• Conduct final inspections and functional tests.
• Prepare relevant reports for vehicle hand-over.
• Ensure quality standards are met in order to achieve the Standards of Excellence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience as a qualified vehicle technician.
• 2–3 years should ideally be at a senior or diagnostic technician level within a franchise/corporate dealership.
• Proof of Qualification as Technician (Trade Test/Red Seal).
• Master Technician Qualification (STARS ID to be provided).
• Working with corporate brands like Nissan, Ford, VW, Audi etc.
• Unendorsed Drivers Licence.
• Computer Literate.
• Successful demonstration of competency.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Attention to detail and time management skills.
• Solid knowledge of fault finding and diagnostic machines.
• Excellent customer orientation.
