Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics process for fruit exports.
- Liaise with producers, suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, cold storage facilities, transport providers, and export agents.
- Schedule and monitor container bookings, loading plans, and vessel departures.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations
- Track shipments and proactively manage delays, deviations, and logistical challenges.
- Capture shipping instructions, commercial invoices, packing lists, and relevant certificates.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with all relevant parties to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the fruit export or fresh produce industry.
- Strong understanding of export procedures, shipping documentation, and cold-chain logistics.
- Experience working with international customers and service providers.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
