Project Manager (Bulk Materials Handling/Mechanical)

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Managing of Project team which includes project engineers, project managers, projects admin, site team.
• Plan and direct the department activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture, ethics and legislative adherence.
• Maintain departmental culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory bodies.
• Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within specifications and allocated budget.
• Chairing of weekly projects progress meetings.
• Overall Management of assigned projects which includes the planning and programming, project duration management and relationship with all stake holders.
• Ensuring that all engineering and manufacturing processes are in keeping with the health and safety regulations of the state and the country.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Diploma in Engineering, commercial or equivalent
• At least 6 years experience in general management / project management
• Understanding of materials handling systemsÂ
