Creditors Clerk - Contract

Our client is seeking a Creditors Clerk (contract) to join their team and ensure the smooth and accurate management of the accounts payable function.
This role is based in Johannesburg East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile creditors invoices against supplier statements and Syspro trial balances.
- Investigate and resolve variances by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly payment runs with accurate allocation on Syspro.
- Obtain appropriate authorisation for all supplier invoices and expenses.
- Submit reconciliations in line with strict deadlines.
- Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of all accounts payable documents.
- Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external queries.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and recommend practical solutions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Creditors Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Syspro (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy levels.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle high transaction volumes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
