The main purpose of the role:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will take a lead role in designing and delivering the electrical scope of a hydrogen production facility, ensuring compliance with all applicable construction standards, grid codes, and hydrogen-specific regulations.

This is a deliverables-based role, with responsibility for defined outputs to support the FEED/EPC phases of the project.

- Load Lists & Power Balance
- Single-Line Diagrams & System Architecture
- Compliance Mapping
- Electrical Studies
- Equipment Specifications
- HSE & Hazardous Areas
- Stakeholder & Interface Management
- Reporting & Documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registration with Engineering Council of South Africa or equivalent registration preferred.
- 8+ years experience, with industrial/process plant or renewable/hydrogen projects exposure.
- Deep knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, SANS, NRS codes.
- Proficiency in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to produce FEED/EPC deliverables.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-disciplinary coordination skills.
