The Role: Assistant Store Manager Somerset MallThe Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales performance. This hands-on leadership role requires someone who can motivate a team, resolve challenges, and consistently deliver strong results while maintaining brand standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and staff leadership
- Manage scheduling, staff rotations, and operational planning
- Monitor and drive sales performance to achieve KPIs and targets
- Coach, mentor, and support team members to improve performance
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation to brand standards
- Resolve customer queries while ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Foster a positive, motivated, and accountable team culture
- Minimum 3 years of retail supervisory or management experience
- Matric certificate required; additional retail/management qualifications advantageous
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage teams
- Confident in handling staff performance management and conflict resolution
- Goal-driven with the ability to monitor and achieve KPIs
- Detail-focused, reliable, and resilient under pressure
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays (5 working days per week with 1 guaranteed weekend off per month)
