Creditors Clerk

We have a vacancy for a Creditors Clerk with a Vehicle dealership in Johannesburg.

Duties: Keep records on amounts owed and amounts paid, Carry out routine bookkeeping duties, Ensure that all creditors are paid accurately and timeously.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and tertiary diploma or qualification in bookkeeping
• Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience as Debtors / Creditors clerk with a Vehicle Dealership
• Experience working within a corporate dealership like Ford, Mazda, Kia, Hyundai etc.
• Knowledge of automotive systems like Kerridge, Autoline etc.
• Solid track record and references

Duties:

• Manage overall dealership and staff for the Sales department, Parts department and Service department
• Monitor and control the vehicles and parts in line with customer demand and projected sales
• Maintain and increase market penetration as expected by manufacturer to meet company objectives
• Improve stock turnover, reduce stock holding and implement changes to increase sales, in order to meet dealership objectives
• Report to manufacturer and head office related to monthly targets
