Stores manager

• Manage receiving, storage, issuing and dispatching of stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock counts and reports.
• Control electrical materials, tools, equipment and consumables.
• Coordinate material requirements with project managers, site supervisors and suppliers.
• Monitor stock levels and address shortages, damages and discrepancies.
• Supervise stores staff and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain stock security, traceability and accountability.
• Assist with stock audits, cycle counts and stock reconciliations.

• Grade 12.
• Previous stores, warehouse or inventory management experience, preferably within electrical, construction, engineering or infrastructure environments.
• Sound knowledge of stock control, receiving, issuing and inventory administration.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and stock management systems.
• Ability to interpret material requisitions, delivery notes and supplier documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• A forklift licence and knowledge of electrical materials would be advantageous.
