Location: Observatory, Cape TownSalary: R30k – R35k per month
About the Role:As a Retail Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing interior projects rooted in our clients' business needs. You'll work closely with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into functional and visually appealing designs.
Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing projects, and ensuring that interior projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements:Tertiary Qualification: National Diploma in Interior Design
4+ years’ experience as an Interior Designer with retail design and project delivery experience.Strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to deliver retail design projects.
Design software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit.
Knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively, individually as-well-as in a team and manage multiple projects.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices is a plus.
Experience working with retail clients and understanding their specific requirements
Own transport essential
Responsibilities: Working independently as well as closely with Senior Designers, Suppliers and Project Managers.
The candidate will be pro-active, anticipating challenges and addressing them before they impact project timelines and budgets.
