The Role: Mid-Level Packaging Designer
The purpose of this role is to deliver conceptual and strategic brand and packaging design. It exists to handle the nuance of wine labels, the tactile nature of FMCG, and the strategic weight of a brand''s shelf presence. The main focus is on being a pure-bred packaging designer who asks why before how.
Key Responsibilities- Apply 35 years of conceptual and strategic brand and packaging design experience to all projects.
- Design packaging specifically for the liquor, beverages, FMCG, and pharmaceutical industries.
- Utilize expert-level Adobe Creative Suite skills to execute high-end designs.
- Implement big-picture strategy and attention to detail throughout the design process.
- Manage a hybrid work schedule requiring three days in-office and two days working from home.
- Maintain a specialized portfolio with a dedicated focus on packaging.
- Incorporate AI and emerging creative tools into the design workflow.
- 35 years of conceptual and strategic brand and packaging design experience.
- Proven track record in liquor, beverages, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals.
- Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite skills.
- Dedicated packaging focus in portfolio.
- Possession of two solid work references.
- Own laptop capable of handling high-end design software for remote work.
- Obsession with detail and a brain for big-picture strategy.
