Sales Administrator

They are looking for a proactive Sales Administrator to provide critical administrative and operational support to the commercial team while ensuring the accuracy of customer information, pricing, reporting, and internal processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, liaising with internal stakeholders and customers, and playing a vital role in supporting business development activities.
Key Responsibilities- Load and maintain customer rates within the relevant operating systems while ensuring accurate record keeping and audit compliance.
- Update and maintain CRM databases, customer records, E-Waybill user profiles, and contact information.
- Assist with customer quotations, process credit applications, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Respond to customer enquiries and allocate sales leads to the relevant Key Account Managers.
- Coordinate procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier follow-up.
- Manage stock control and distribution of stationery, uniforms, and other operational supplies.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external customer communications, including fuel surcharge updates and company notices.
- Verify daily flight schedules before customer distribution.
- Compile, maintain, and distribute accurate sales, customer, and business development reports.
- Provide general administrative support to the Sales and Business Development teams.
Job Experience and Skills Required
Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) essential.
- Post Matric qualification
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 year's experience in an administrative role.
- Minimum of 2year's customer service experience.
- Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, aviation, transport, or supply chain environments will be advantageous.
- Previous exposure to CRM systems and sales administration is beneficial.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently.
- Experience using Winfreight Operations and Finance will be advantageous.
