Junior Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, evaluation, and optimization of water and wastewater treatment processes
• Support process troubleshooting activities to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data to drive process enhancements
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and performance summaries
• Participate in commissioning, validation, and performance testing of equipment and systems
• Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams on projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow documentation
• Monitor system performance and support preventative and corrective maintenance efforts
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and resource optimization

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• 02 years of relevant experience (internships or exposure to water treatment processes advantageous)
• Basic understanding of process engineering principles and water treatment technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with process simulation software or data analysis tools is an advantage
