PR Eng Electrical

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Professional Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 7 years' experience in Building Services Engineering to join our growing team.

• BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) with ECSA.
• Minimum 7 years' post-graduate experience in Building Services Engineering.
• Proven experience in the design and management of electrical building services projects.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV reticulation, power distribution, lighting design, backup power systems, generators, UPS systems, renewable energy integration, and building management systems (BMS).
• Experience in project management, contract administration, tender documentation, and site supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, DIALux, MS Office, and relevant electrical design software.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites when required.

• Design and oversee electrical building services systems for commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial projects.
• Prepare feasibility studies, technical reports, specifications, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, power system studies, and lighting design.
• Manage projects from concept through construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Conduct site inspections, quality assurance reviews, and progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
