Applicants are required to strictly meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with a proven track record in the sales industry in the marine / boating industry is a non-negotiable requirement
- Skills in prospecting / cold calling and able to work independently and in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; valid drivers and willing to travel
- MS Office skills with Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables / VLookup etc) as well as experience in CRM software
- Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills
- Attention to detail / customer focused / solutions orientated and have good negotiation skills
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Sell / secure orders from customers and increase footprint throughout Africa
- Demonstrate products/services to existing / potential customers
- Establish, develop and maintain relations; and liaise via presentations, communication mediums and visits
- Research for developing prospective customers and develop proposals and quotations
- Resolution of customer problems and after sales enquiries
- Identified and analyse market potential
- Plans and organize personal sales strategies
- Writing and submitting report and identify product improvements
- Manage / co-ordinate participation in trade shows, conventions and events
