Passenger Vehicle Diagnostic / Master Technician - Gqeberha, Eastern Cape

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostics on passenger vehicles using OEM diagnostic equipment
• Accurately identify and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
• Conduct repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and standards
• Support and mentor junior technicians and apprentices
• Ensure high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and quality workmanship
• Complete job cards, reports, and technical documentation accurately
• Stay up to date with manufacturer training and technical bulletins
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures

Requirements:

• Qualified Motor Technician (Trade Test Certificate essential)
• Diagnostic / Master Technician certification (highly advantageous)
• Minimum 3+ years experience in a franchised passenger vehicle dealership as a Master / Diagnostic Technician
• Strong experience with OEM diagnostic systems and fault-finding
• Proven track record of accurate diagnostics and repair quality
• Valid drivers licence
• Stable work history with contactable references
• Motor industry experience essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team player with leadership and mentoring capability
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
