Financial Accountant

Perform and post monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Process monthâend journals and maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation
Reconcile daily cash ups against bank statements
Prepare and submit VAT returns and reconcile VAT accounts
Complete EMP201 submissions and payrollârelated statutory returns
Prepare quarterly Stats SA financial questionnaires
Conduct stock takes and ensure accurate stock management on the system
Manage stock transfers between locations and resolve discrepancies
Handle forex administration, including incoming foreign funds reporting
Support the Finance team with accounting queries and training
Assist the Financial Manager with BEE information, audits, and compliance
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience with Business Central - advantageous
Hospitality industry exposure - advantageous

Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years general financial and administration experience
Strong reconciliation, reporting, and monthâend close experienceExcellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience with Business Central - advantageous
Hospitality industry exposure - advantageous
Strong communication skills and ability to support a finance team
Qualification: Financial Accounting Diploma OR BCom Degree
SAIPA registration as Professional Accountant
