The Spine Centre is a group practice focusing exclusively on the diagnosis and management of spinal pathologies. The group has consulting rooms in Paarl and Kuilsriver and operates at Paarl MediClinic and Netcare Kuilsriver. The company currently has a position available for a professional and dynamic individual to join their team.

Duties:

  • Reception duties (e.g. answering of calls, receiving of patients, etc.)
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-up appointments
  • Assist patients with queries and liaise accordingly
  • Schedule tests, scans, special investigations and outside appointments with allied health for patients
  • All relevant patient administration (accurate registration of patients, manage patient records, update any changes in personal details, etc.) on PMO and GoodX / Compsol
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for effective theatre meetings
  • Coordinate monthly call schedule and weekend round allocation
  • Arrange and coordinate monthly receptionist roster for Paarl and Kuilsriver practice
  • Handle e-mail communication and enquiries
  • Assist with social media marketing

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator / Coordinator / Receptionist
  • Knowledge of and experience in the medical industry is recommended
  • Experience with graphic design / social media content design would be beneficial
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office)
  • Excellent planning, organisational, prioritising and coordination skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (Afrikaans and English)
  • Accurate numerical skills
  • Task, detail and system-oriented
  • Willingness to work in a team of professionals
  • Professional appearance and demeanour (incl. but not limited to ability to keep information private and confidential)
