System Administrator

Please note this position is based in the Middle East- Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PowerShell scripting, server management, and SQL administration, with experience in industries such as oil & gas, finance, or healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring system stability and security.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
• Administer and optimize software servers, including:
• Cluster configuration and management for high availability.
• User banking systems for secure account management.
• User behavior monitoring and analysis for security enhancements.
• Implement and manage message server backup solutions for data integrity and disaster recovery.
• Perform SQL Server administration, including database maintenance, performance tuning, and security management.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements:

• 5-12 years of experience in system administration or a related field.
• Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Proven experience managing software servers, including cluster configurations, user banking systems, and security monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with message server backup solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL Server administration, including database optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in oil & gas, finance, or healthcare industries.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Certifications such as MCSE, and RHCE.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
