My client is looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Bookkeeper to join their finance team.

This role goes beyond the traditional scope of bookkeeping, combining financial accuracy with operational oversight of fleet-related activities.

This role is based in Kempton Park, Johannesburg East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations up to trial balance
• Capture and reconcile debtors and creditors accurately and timeously
• Maintain and reconcile payment records, including load-related payments
• Manage and track fleet information, including acquisitions, de-fleeting, insurance, and repair records
• Oversee fuel consumption and reconcile petrol card and diesel depot usage
• Ensure accurate reporting on fleet performance and operational expenses

Requirements:

• Completed Degree in Accounting.
• 5 years Proven experience in bookkeeping and general ledger management
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
• Experience with fleet or asset tracking is advantageous
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
