Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Production Supervisor to lead and oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will ensure production targets are met efficiently, safely, and within quality standards while managing a team and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and control daily manufacturing and workflow activities
• Ensure on-time, cost-effective production aligned with quality benchmarks
• Supervise and lead production teams to maximise productivity
• Monitor production schedules, output, and make necessary adjustments
• Enforce health, safety, and compliance protocols on the production floor
• Collaborate with departments including procurement, design, and logistics
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvements
• Ensure regular maintenance and safe operation of all machinery
• Prepare and present reports on production performance and KPIs to management

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: Matric (Grade 12)

• Industry Experience: 3–5 years in a similar supervisory role within the steel, sheet metal, roofing, or construction industries
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Technical knowledge of steel/sheet metal production processes and machinery
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Computer literacy – proficient in MS Office and production management systems
