Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient job allocation, monitoring productivity, and minimizing idle time.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians, transferring skills and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Conduct accurate vehicle diagnostics and oversee repair quality in accordance with OEM standards.
• Ensure all safety procedures and industry best practices are strictly followed in the workshop.
• Coordinate workflow between service advisors, technicians, and parts department to optimize workshop operations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, timesheets, and job progress.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer interactions where necessary, ensuring high-quality service delivery and satisfaction.
• Use OEM and BSI systems effectively for vehicle diagnostics, repair, and reporting (BSI experience is a bonus).
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements / Skills:

• Must be a Master Technician with proven experience in a high-volume brand
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing workshop operations and leading teams.
• Computer literate, with experience using OEM systems; BSI experience is advantageous
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Local candidate or living within 25 km of the workshop (Paarl / Wellington / Klipmuts area).

Remuneration:R30,000 R36,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
