Driver / All-rounder

Location: Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, Western Cape

Seeking a responsible , organized and versatile driver / all-rounder to assist finance, admin, procurement and production departments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicle(s) to make collections & deliveries
• Action deliveries / collections in a timely fashion
• Planning cost effective route for collection / delivery
• Assist with loading & unloading vehicles (dispatch)
• Complete pre & post vehicle checks on daily basis complete checklist
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of vehicle(s) in your care
• Report any accidents / incidents immediately
• Doing monthly purchases / collection of office consumables (Coffee, Tea, Sugar etc.)
• Facilitate financial transaction(s) with banks, (Petty cash)
• Renewal of vehicle licenses for fleet vehicles at traffic department(s)
• Refuel vehicle(s) if and when required
• Willing and able to assist in other departments when not required to do drivers function
• Ability to do long distance trips if & when required. (Include sleeping out.)
• Collection & delivery of cherry picker(s) to site(s) if and when required
• Willing & able to work after hours

Requirements:

• Grade 12/Matric certificate or equivalent required.
• Well presented, trustworthy & responsible
• Have own mobile smartphone
• Valid Drivers License EB 08 experienced Code 10 &PDP would be advantageous
• Medically fit
• Clean driving record
• Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience

Remuneration:

Remuneration will depend on experience but will be elaborated on at interview stage.
