Senior Stock Controller

The successful candidate will be a critical link among operations, finance, suppliers, and store management, ensuring stock is available when required while maintaining strict stock-holding targets and minimising losses.

• Manage inventory levels across multiple stores and operational sites
• Monitor stock movements, variances, wastage, and shrinkage
• Conduct stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory investigations
• Analyse stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Manage supplier ordering processes and stock replenishment activities
• Produce detailed stock, cost, variance, and inventory reports
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory valuations
• Support forecasting, planning, and inventory optimisation initiatives
• Coordinate stock transfers between stores and operational sites
• Drive compliance with stock management procedures and controls
• Train and support operational teams on inventory best practices
• Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy, efficiency, and profitability

• Minimum 5 years experience within:
• Stock Control
• Inventory Management
• Procurement Administration
• Supply Chain Administration
• At least 2 years experience in a Senior Stock Controller or Supervisory capacity
• Strong exposure to:
• Hospitality Groups
• Restaurant Chains
• Coffee Shop Groups
• FMCG
• Retail Operations
• High-volume inventory environments

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Pivot Tables
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Data Analysis
• Reporting
• Inventory Management Systems
• GAAP Point of Sale (Highly Advantageous)
• Google Workspace
• Experience with:
• Sage
• Pastel
• Pilot
• Power BI (Advantageous)
