Research Nurse
â What you bring:
- Qualification in General Nursing (Certificate/Diploma/Degree)
- 2 - 5 years experience in clinical research
- Strong Computer literacy
- Valid Drivers License (essential)
- Fluency in English and isiXhosa
This isnt just clinical work; youll be part of research that advances the understanding allergies and immune-related diseases, improves treatment approaches for real patients and combines science, care, and community engagement
ð¯ What youll own:
- Coordinating and managing study participants
- Screening and enrolling participants into clinical studies
- Scheduling and conducting follow-ups (clinic, telephonic, and community visits)
- Performing clinical procedures (vitals, ECGs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, IV lines)
- Preparing and managing laboratory samples and study documentation
- Maintaining accurate and compliant study records and logs
- Supporting research activities across multiple clinical sites
- Working closely with clinical staff, researchers, and stakeholders
ð Role Information:
- Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
- Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week
- Based in Masiphumelele, with work across multiple sites
